Key skills

I am continuing my interest in journalism, current affairs, writing and communication through my chosen degree, this has already been beneficial to me as it has increased my confidence and communication skills vastly. Most recently, my attention has been turned to the likes of video production stemming from my TV module. As travelling is a passion of mine, I enjoy creating vlogs of my adventures and was able to turn my hobby into a job at Sandy Hill Camp in Maryland, working as a videographer for the summer. I am a keen dancer, having danced for over 16 years at my original school and now with the university’s dance society. I also joined the University of Lincoln Gymnastics Society where I have enjoyed learning a new sport, socialising and took on the role of Social Media Representative for the 2017-18 year. I am a keen and competent skier, having been on school trips along with now being a registered volunteer instructor with the Special Olympics West Midlands Ski Group, I am also working towards taking my ski instructor qualifications in the future.
