Letter to my future self

I made it part of my Summer Bucket List to write a letter to my future self and as I’ve spent a great deal of time thinking about the future over the past few weeks (and the fact that I’ve hardly completed any of my summer bucket list) it felt like now was the perfect time to write it.

My personal reading best

I’ve always been a reader, someone who would much rather be absorbed in another world than the one I am actually sat in. It used to be that reading was the thing that made me happiest. However over the past few years, as I’ve had to spend more time studying for school and uni, I’ve lost the time to read.

Happiness in my heart

I get called a pessimist all the time. Hurts to hear it but I know it’s probably true. It’s not that I don’t want to see the best in things and people, it’s that the worst just always seems to shine brighter. I’ve learnt to not get my hopes up nowadays because they always get knocked down – sounds bad but it’s just the way it is.

Your vote, your voice

Following Prime Minister Theresa May’s decision to hold a snap election, there is to be a General Election on 8 June 2017. Do you know who needs to be there? You. (as long as you’re over 18 that is!) And that means you need to register to vote.
