Originally from Birmingham, I am currently a second-year Journalism student at the University of Lincoln studying various platforms of news production and writing – although I have a specific interest in online and television production. I’ve dipped my toes into blogging before but never seem to be able to commit to a post more than ‘every so often’ but for once I vow to try harder than my last poor effort – I’ll have to stick to it now that’s in writing!
Aside from the (extremely time-consuming) academic side of my life, I tend to keep myself busy most of the time – much to my flatmate’s amazement. I’m a dancer, always have been, always will be, and am currently trying to re-find my passion for it following a few knock backs along the way (maybe more on that later…!). At university I also joined the Gymnastics Society, where I’m slowly improving and learning to love the achey pain I feel after every session. The other sporty love of my life falls towards skiing, I am a volunteer with a Special Olympics team and would absolutely love to take my instructor qualifications one day.
On the off-chance that I take a day off from my always busy life, I enjoy watching a whole range of TV shows – and talking about them much to everyone’s annoyance, spending time with my friends and family, drinking copious amounts of coffee and tea (and malibu…), travelling and sleeping!
So, I hope you stick around for a bit to see what more’s coming for me – most likely lots of posts about the gorgeous places I visit and my general adventures in life.
